Audi Lease FAQs
You must be at least 18 years old to be considered for Audi Leasing.
In addition to your age, you must hold a full UK driving licence (or equivalent driving licence from your country of origin), you must not have an adverse credit history and you must be able to prove that you can afford the monthly rentals.
It is essential you can afford the monthly rentals, both now and in the future. If you decide that an Audi lease is suitable, the next step is completing our Personal or Business Finance Application form.
The application form will ask you questions about your gross annual income and your approximate monthly expenditure. We will share the information you provide with a lender.
The affordability check and the information already known about you at credit reference agencies all help a lender decide if your application is suitable.
You are still eligible to lease an Audi if you receive a pension, even if you’ve also retired from employment.
Your pension can be your sole income or even top-up your gross annual income. Your age is not a barrier to Audi Leasing, but you must hold a full UK driving licence (or equivalent driving licence from your country of origin), you must not have an adverse credit history and you must be able to prove that you can afford the monthly rentals.
If you or your business wants to end the Audi lease earlier than the pre-agreed finish date, early termination charges will apply. The early repayment charge payable by you or your business will vary. They are dependent upon the amount predetermined by the lender.
As each lender has its own early termination policy, their charges vary. The minimum charge is 50% of the remaining rentals outstanding; this can increase to a maximum of 100% of the remaining rentals remaining. On occasion, the early termination charge and the ability to break your agreement with a lender is determined by its length and a minimum number of months that must have existed before you will be allowed to terminate the contract voluntarily.
Leasing an Audi comes with some excellent benefits, but before you enter into a credit agreement with a lender, you must consider how these early termination charges might affect you or your business in the future.
